In August 2024, BAI proudly completed Phase 1 of the Upper Baker Dam Spillway Stabilization Project, installing 3 horizontal drains midway through the future concrete buttress.
Our team returned to Concrete, WA in October 2024 to tackle Phase 2. This involved the installation of:
- 48 rock anchors drilled to an average depth of 42 feet
- 9 additional horizontal drains on top of the dam’s newly reinforced buttress
We wrapped up this critical work in November 2024, ensuring the dam remains resilient for years to come.
Special thanks to JF Brenna get Sound Energy for their collaboration and support throughout this project! BAI is proud to play a part in protecting the Pacific Northwest’s vital infrastructure.
