The Priest Rapids Right Embankment Improvement project involves construction of a new 2,200-foot-long roller compacted concrete embankment and secant pile cutoff wall downstream of the existing earth embankment. The project will improve seismic stability of the right embankment and protect the Wanapum Indian tribal village downstream of the dam. Budinger & Associates is performing grout curtain installation and automated instrumentation monitoring for the project.
