After the Cheney Municipal Pool closed due to a filtration system failure, BAI had the opportunity to provide geotechnical engineering as well as special inspection and materials testing services in the development of a new aquatic center consisting of two pool buildings, pools, and patios, which was constructed on the footprint of the existing aquatic center.
BAI completed geotechnical services, which included preparing calculations of bearing capacity and settlement, stormwater infiltration, and pavement layer thickness.
BAI also provided special inspections and materials testing services on the aquatic center, performing special inspection and testing on earthwork, concrete, structural masonry, high strength steel, hot mix asphalt, and drainage. BAI was glad to support the reconstruction and development of the Cheney Aquatic Center for the wonderful Cheney community.
