BAI completed a geologic desk study for a new 14-mile, 230kV transmission line, with a total of 119 structures spanning from Garden Springs to Four Mound Prairie in western Spokane County for Avista Utilities. By utilizing available geologic mapping, well logs, and WSDNR LiDAR data, BAI was able to identify areas with potential geologic challenges for transmission structure design. Subsequent to the desk study, BAI completed subsurface explorations at select locations and prepared a design report summarizing recommended Moment Foundation Analysis and Design (MFAD) parameters for transmission structure design.
