In October 2021, Almira Elementary and Middle School, alongside district offices, was destroyed by a fire. BAI provided geotechnical exploration and analysis and special inspections and materials testing in support of development of a new school facility. BAI conducted geotechnical exploration and analysis and provided a report addressing slope inclinations, foundation types and considerations, bearing strata, and more. BAI also provided inspection and testing of earthwork, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, and hot mix asphalt and supported students’ educational needs through efficient construction of a new, forward-thinking facility including a 48,000SF K-8 school, a 2,000SF District Office, Greenhouse, and more.
