BAI provided temporary shoring wall design to support phased construction of three new 155-foot-long prestressed concrete bridges supporting Interstate 90 over Highway 41 in North Idaho. BAI engineers prepared shoring wall design calculations and developed shop drawings for 4,200 square feet of cantilevered soldier pile and lagging walls and 10,000 square feet of geosynthetic-reinforced mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls. BAI also provided geotechnical analysis and design for geosynthetic reinforced soil abutments and driv en pile foundations supporting two temporary bridges over the existing SH-41 underpass.
