The Phase 4 addition to the Spokane Tribe Casino included a casino expansion, parking structure, an additional hotel wing, and a warehouse expansion. BAI staff prepared recommendations for foundations, which included two options for mitigation of the risk of loose soils beneath foundations of the parking garage and casino expansion. BAI staff also provided recommendations regarding earthwork, earth pressures and lateral resistance, stormwater drainage, and more. Tailored geotechnical recommendations supported efficient progress and cost-effective solutions on the multi-facility expansion.
